Gracewood of Hugo staff and residents had a surprise baby shower for Katelyn, a caregiver at Gracewood. We surprised Katelyn with gifts and treats. We knew Katelyn was having a boy so we decorated with baby blue and we even had sugar cookies with blue frosting. It was a fun afternoon.
November was all about those who are around us each day. We celebrated Veteran’s Day with a tribute to them and thanking them for their service. We also celebrated the birth of yet another centurion, who had her 100th birthday on Thanksgiving Day (we now have 3!). and a wonderful Thanksgiving with many families and friends in our building !
We are excited to announce that we have finished our new commercial. This is a wonderful video that describes some of the things our residents, families and staff experience when living and working at our beautiful assisted living and memory care communities.
Thank you to all the residents, family, staff and puppy that participated in this project!

Our Fall Festival at Gracewood in North Branch had a great turnout. Residents, families and friends enjoyed a lunch of pulled pork, baked potato soup, caesar salad and a delicious pumpkin crisp dessert. Toe tapping music was provided by The Reminisce Band. There were games, door prizes, and lots of candy for the kids.
Halloween Day the local daycare brought 18 little people dressed up in customs to visit with the residents. There were lots of smiles when the children sang and walked around and greeted all the residents.
Halloween Fun at White Pine! Everyone had a Spooky Time!
