/Our resident enjoyed the monthly birthday celebrations.
Community news from our beautiful assisted living and memory care communities.
We offer a wide variety of activities at our communities. Below are just a few examples of the fun we are having at White Pine, Comforts of Home and Gracewood Senior Living.
Gracewood of Hugo had a rockin’ Back to the 50’s Day January 21st. They started the day with 1950’s trivia. A diner-style lunch was served with burgers, fries and chocolate shakes for dessert. Elvis arrived after lunch to perform all his favorite hits. The ladies swooned over Elvis’ charm and dance moves. The residents danced and sang along to all the hits. Fun was had by all.
Our North Branch Gracewood family is getting ready for Christmas. The fun festivities have already begun! We made our first annual Gingerbread House and everyone had such a good time! There was a lot of munching and building going on all at the same time! Next week we will bring back an old Norwegian tradition of baking Lefse. Tomorrow morning the local daycare will be here to Christmas carol with us. We hope you all have a blessed and fun holiday season!
The Christmas spirit was felt all around at the Gracewood of Hugo’s Christmas party on Friday, December 11th. Upper Lakes Food representatives assisted our kitchen staff with preparing a delicious holiday meal for the residents and their families. Sonda Jacobson played piano music during dinner, and after dinner everyone gathered around the piano as Sonda led us in a festive sing-a-long with all our favorite Christmas carols.
Gracewood of Hugo had a wonderful time singing with Trudi during the Christmas season. Trudi brings sing-a-long sheets for everyone and many props so the residents can interact with the music. Fun was had by all.
The residents of Gracewood of Hugo celebrated the New Year with a party on December 31st. Tony Armstrong put on a great show with all our Rock-and-Roll favorites. After all the dancing and singing we toasted our glasses with sparkling cider and enjoyed some snacks. It was a Rockin’ afternoon.
It was a very nice night with 16 of our wonderful residents touring the beautiful Christmas lights throughout St. Paul. They all enjoyed it so much. The Darts driver did a great job and a special thank you to Asya, our staff, for coordinating this.
White Pine, Senior Living in White Bear Lake is so blessed to have Tony Rocking the house today! Thank you Tony for bringing your smile each and every month!
