Gracewood of Hugo-Summer Blast program

     Ten young ladies from a Summer Blast program from a local church volunteered for a morning at Gracewood. The girls separated into three groups. One group colored summer pictures with the residents, another group put together large floor puzzles at a table with residents. The last group played a variety of large group games such as bowling and horseshoe.  The favorite game was hitting a balloon back and forth to each other and keeping it off the floor.
 

Gracewood of Hugo-Children from a local sign language camp

      Children from a local sign language camp visited the residents of Gracewood the end of June.  They taught the residents simple sign language words such as please and thank you.  The children also sang familiar Bible songs with sign language.  They also brought puppets and used them to help visit with the residents.

White of Cottage Grove-Hawaiian Themed Summer Bash-August 14th from 2pm-5pm

We will be having a Hawaiian themed Summer Bash on August 14th from 2pm-5pm. This will include a live band and lots of food and treats. It will be outside in the front of our building with tables, chairs , and tents for shade.

Comforts of Home of River Falls CBRF II-4th of July

Come join us in celebration of the 4th of July! On Tuesday, July 7th we will be enjoying some grilled burgers, baked beans, and potato chips at 12PM and we will be following the meal with some fishing off the dock. All family and friends are welcome to join us and we hope to see you there!
 

White Pine of White Bear Lake-July

Can you believe it’s already July!  At White Pine in White Bear Lake we have been so busy with activities that June flew by!  We have plenty more sun in the fun this July at White Bear Lake.  Come out and join us for our Luau party on July 26th, where we will be having the band Bandana coming to play and a ice cream social.  We will also be going on a pontoon ride around the White Bear Lake on July 14th and 20th, so don’t forget your sunscreen!  We hope to see you at our July 4th BBQ if you are in town!  Stay safe and have a great summer!
